The aroma of bacon and eggs woke me. Real bacon and eggs, not that reconstructor cardboard stuff.

I was in Ruush’s enormous bed. Since arriving on Avalon, I’d spent every night in Ruush’s bed, to maintain the ruse, of course. The same type of surveillance that could detect a crew of five hiding in the ship could also detect if an alleged married couple were not sleeping in the same bed.
